This medium spiced chili will be a favorite. - 1 lb quality Ground Beef
- 2/3 cup Yellow Onion, diced to ¼”
- 1/2 cup Green Pepper, diced to ¼ “
- 2 – 3 large Garlic cloves, pressed
- 1- Tbsp. Chili powder
- 1 ½- tsp. ground Cumin
- 1 tsp. Sea Salt, or to taste
- 1 – 28oz. can Petite diced tomatoes
- 1 ¼ cup Forest Floor Foods Hot and Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
- 1 cup good quality Beef or Chicken stock
Brown the hamburger in a large skillet on medium heat. While hamburger is still pink add the onion, green pepper, and garlic. When meat is browned and the onion is tender, turn up the heat to high and add the chili powder, cumin, and salt and mix well. While on high heat add the tomatoes and mix thoroughly. Transfer to a 4 quart stock pot. Add the Hot and Spicy Bloody Mary Mix and the stock. Mix well and bring the Chili to a low boil. Then cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
You may add 1½ cup prepared Macaroni
You may add 1 can of kidney beans or beans of your choice.
For a thinner chili feel free to add more stock, Bloody Mary Mix or both.
For a spicier chili add 1 tsp Forest Floor Bloody Mary Seasoning.
